The maintenance of golf cart batteries is crucial

The maintenance of golf cart batteries is crucial to ensure their long-term stable operation. Firstly, when not in use for a long time, the ball cart should be started regularly for charging to prevent the battery from discharging on its own and becoming unusable. Checking the battery level can be done through the indicator on the dashboard. If insufficient battery is found, it should be charged in a timely manner.

During driving, if the battery suddenly runs out of power, you can temporarily seek help from other vehicles by connecting the negative and positive terminals of the two vehicles' batteries to assist in starting. But do not neglect the maintenance of the electrolyte, the electrolyte density needs to be adjusted to the standard value according to the region and season. If the electrolyte is insufficient, distilled water or specialized replenishment should be added, and pure water should not be used to avoid damage to the battery.

During daily use, check if the small holes on the battery cover are unobstructed, maintain ventilation, and avoid hydrogen and oxygen accumulation that can cause the battery casing to expand. When charging, be sure to use a dedicated charger to avoid high temperatures and humid environments. Meanwhile, avoid using organic solvents to clean the battery casing to ensure safety. The positive and negative poles of the battery should be insulated to prevent short circuits and avoid danger.

When the undervoltage light on the dashboard is on, it indicates that the battery is close to its limit. At this time, it should be charged in a timely manner to avoid overdischarging. The charging time should be adjusted according to the mileage, and the longer the mileage, the longer the charging time. If there is a battery malfunction, it must be sent to the manufacturer's authorized office or professional organization for handling. Do not dispose of it casually to avoid environmental pollution.
