Precautions for the use of golf electric vehicle power batteries

Leave a message

The batteries commonly used in golf carts are usually lead-acid batteries, but lead-acid batteries often encounter the following problems and have a service life of about 1 year.
1. Regular inspections are necessary. If the driving range of an electric golf cart suddenly drops by more than ten kilometers in a short period of time during use, it is likely that at least one battery in the battery pack has a short circuit phenomenon such as grid breakage, plate softening, or active material detachment. At this time, it is necessary to promptly go to a professional battery repair institution for inspection, repair, or assembly. And high-energy and environmentally friendly batteries use special formula alloy plates for the plates. The cover plate and safety valve are both made of high-quality ABS material, and the pole sealing adhesive is epoxy resin, both of which have flame retardancy. So high-energy and environmentally friendly batteries will not experience short circuits such as grid breakage, plate softening, or active material detachment from the plates.
2. Never store the electric golf cart battery in a low battery state. A low battery state refers to the situation where the electric golf cart battery is not charged in a timely manner after use, which can lead to sulfation and lead sulfate crystals adhering to the electrode plates, blocking the ion channels and causing insufficient charging, resulting in a decrease in battery capacity. The longer the idle time in a low battery state, the more severe the battery damage. When the battery is idle, it should be charged once a month to ensure that the battery does not break. High energy and environmentally friendly batteries use high-energy and environmentally friendly electrolytes as materials, which will not cause sulfation or pollution to the environment even in a depleted state. They can be fully discharged and can continue to be used after being stored for 6 months.
3. Do not discharge high current and try to avoid instantaneous high current discharge. High current discharge can easily lead to lead sulfate crystallization, thereby damaging the physical properties of battery plates. And what about high-energy and environmentally friendly batteries. Capable of discharging with high current, fully discharging, and maximizing capacity utilization.
4. Master the charging time. Generally, batteries are charged at night, with an average charging time of about 8 hours. If the discharge is shallow (with a short driving range after charging), the golf cart battery will quickly become fully charged. Continuing to charge will result in overcharging, causing the battery to lose water, heat up, and reduce its lifespan. Therefore, it is best to charge the battery once when the discharge depth is between 60% and 70%. In actual use, it can be converted into a cycling mileage, and necessary charging should be carried out according to the actual situation to avoid harmful charging. It is a high-energy and environmentally friendly battery. Can discharge and charge 100%. After charging is completed, it will not generate heat, resulting in unnecessary losses.
5. To prevent high temperature exposure, golf carts should not be exposed to sunlight. An environment with excessively high temperature can increase the internal pressure of the battery, forcing the battery pressure limiting valve to automatically open. The direct consequence is an increase in the battery's water loss, and excessive water loss in golf cart batteries will inevitably lead to a decrease in battery activity, accelerate plate softening, and cause fatal damage such as shell heating, bulging, and deformation during charging. High energy and environmentally friendly batteries do not require substances such as water or sulfuric acid. They have a wide range of applications with significant temperature differences, ensuring reliability in high and low temperature environments.
